Before construction, the oil and floating dust on the construction surface should be removed, and a small amount of water should be sprayed on the construction surface. Prior to use, shake the PU caulk jar for at least 60 seconds to ensure uniform material in the tank. The one-component polyurethane grout is a moisture-cured polyurethane grout. When used, the tank is inverted and screwed to the spray gun. The flow valve is rotated to adjust the flow rate and then sprayed. If a tubular PU caulk is used, screw the plastic|exam large nozzle to the valve thread, align the plastic tube with the gap, and pry the nozzle to spray. Pay attention to the speed of travel when spraying, usually by half the required fill volume. When filling vertical gaps, it should be from bottom to top; when filling gaps such as ceilings, uncured foam may fall due to gravity. It is recommended to properly support after filling, until the foam is cured and bonded to the seam wall. Then evacuate the support. The foam is debonded in about 10 minutes and can be cut after 60 minutes. Use a knife to cut off excess foam and apply it on the surface with cement mortar, paint or silicone.
Construction Notes:
The normal use temperature of the polyurethane caulking tank is +5～+40°C, and the optimal use temperature is +18～+25°C. At low temperatures, it is recommended to keep the product at a constant temperature of +25 to +30 °C for 30 minutes to ensure its best performance. The cured foam has a temperature resistance range of -35 ° C to + 80 ° C.
Polyurethane sealant is a moisture-curing foam that should be sprayed on a wet surface when used. The higher the humidity, the faster the cure. The uncured foam can be cleaned with a cleaning agent, and the cured foam is removed by mechanical means (sanding or cutting). The cured foam will be yellowed after being exposed to ultraviolet light. It is recommended to coat the surface of the foam after curing with other materials (cement mortar, paint, etc.). Immediately after using the spray gun, clean it with a special cleaning agent.
When replacing the tank, first shake the new tank (at least 20 times), remove the empty tank, and quickly replace the new tank to prevent the gun joint from solidifying.
The gun's flow control valve and trigger control the amount of foam flow. When the injection stops, the flow valve is closed in a clockwise direction.
Safety Precautions:
Uncured foam is sticky to the skin and clothing, so do not touch the skin and clothing when using it. There is a pressure of 5-6kg/cm2 (25°C) in the PU caulking tank. The temperature during storage and transportation should not exceed 50°C to prevent the tank from blasting. The PU caulking agent tank should be kept away from direct sunlight. It is strictly forbidden for children to contact. The empty cans after use, especially the PU caulking cans that have not been used up partially, should not be littered. It is forbidden to burn or puncture the empty cans. Keep away from open flames and do not touch flammable or explosive materials. The construction site should be provided with ventilation conditions. Construction workers should wear work gloves, overalls and goggles during construction, and do not smoke. In case the foam touches your eyes, rinse with water and go to the hospital for medical treatment. If you touch the skin, rinse with water and soap.
